What is Happening at Christ Church – Week of Feb 14, 2021

We hope you are staying warm and safe this week! As freezing temperatures and difficult driving conditions continue, we have decided to hold our special Ash Wednesday service online only and will not gather in-person. We invite you to worship with us at 6:30pm tomorrow on our websiteappFacebook, or YouTube as we begin our annual Lenten journey to the cross of Good Friday and the empty tomb of Easter. Let us come expectant for what God has in store for us tomorrow and in this season ahead!

We are excited to announce that our children’s ministry will offer care for children ages five and under beginning this Sunday during the worship service! To ensure our children and teachers can safely gather in this season, we will limit the number of children in each age group. Please fill out an online RSVP form for each child by clicking this link. You will also find more information on that RSVP link and are always invited to email Matthew Phillips here with any additional questions you may have.

Finally, we want to thank you for your continuous generosity, which allows us to meet the needs of those God calls us to serve in our church and community. As we look ahead to all this year may hold, we know God is already bringing new opportunities to love and serve others with the generosity of Christ. In that spirit, we will receive a benevolence offering this Sunday, February 21, which will allow us to meet the needs of our community as they arise. You are also always welcome to give your benevolence offering online at, through our app, or by mailing a check to the church offices c/o Benevolence.

As God remains faithful in His gracious provision to us, it is our honor to give generously in response, and it is a blessing to experience how the Lord works through a giving church. We thank God for the responsive generosity of our Christ Church family. May we become even more so as this season unfolds!
