Sometimes a Fire; Sometimes a Dove

Acts 17:22-31

, May 28, 2017 ()

Throughout history, Christians have responded to the Holy Spirit in both ecstatic and contemplative ways. In other words, sometimes the work of the Holy Spirit is obvious and provokes an emotionally extroverted response. In other times the Work of the Spirit is subtle and provokes an introverted and subtle response. The Day of Pentecost is an example of the first; Paul at Mars Hill is an example of the second.
