Important Year-End Financial Update

Dear Christ Church family,

Now that we have been able to close the books on 2020, so to speak, we wanted to share an important update with you regarding our congregational financial status as of the end of the year. Please take a moment to carefully read the encouraging report below from Mr. Joe Cook, Christ Church Board Chair, on behalf of our Finance Committee and Board of Directors:

Statement from Finance Committee and Board of Directors

Despite all the challenges faced over the past year, Christ Church continues to be sustained and strengthened, in every way, by the abundant grace and empowering Holy Spirit of God. Through continuing adaptation and adjustment, God allowed us to weather the financial, spiritual, and literal storms of 2020 and emerge into the new year with renewed faith and a more resilient hope in Christ. Thanks be to God, and thanks to our Finance Committee, Board, and staff for their ongoing faithfulness in wisely stewarding that which God has entrusted to us for His Kingdom purposes.

Now, as we journey into 2021, let us encourage one another as we continue to hold fast to the One who speaks “Peace” to the storm. Let us seek God’s Kingdom first, knowing He is faithful to provide all we need along the way. Let us dedicate ourselves to living out our core values, growing in the Word, Worship, Prayer, Community, Diversity, and Generosity as followers of Christ. And let us give thanks with grateful hearts for all God has done, while we look forward in expectant hope for what He has yet to do! Praise God!

By His grace and in His Peace,
Senior Pastor
