Let Us Pray

Log
Dear Christ Church family,

Thank you for walking with us through our Essential series on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, as we center ourselves in our core values of Word, Worship, Prayer, Community, Diversity, and Generosity. Our staff and I feel strongly that God will only deepen what He has for us surrounding these values and our call to embody them in the coming season.

Last Sunday, we had the opportunity to end our service with a powerful time of corporate prayer. We began that time hearing from and praying for Pastor Greg Brewer as he shared his recent diagnosis of the early stages of colon cancer. Thanks to early detection, Pastor Greg’s prognosis is good, and expectations are overwhelmingly positive for his surgery tomorrow and for the recovery to follow.

We invite you to take a few moments to click on the video below to hear directly from Pastor Greg and also share once again in the prayer Pastor Scott Crider led over him on Sunday.

Please continue to pray for Pastor Greg, the Brewer family, and all those represented in the service Sunday in need of healing. If you are in need of prayer, please know it is our greatest privilege to pray for and with you, no matter what you are facing. You are always welcome to email info@ccnash.org with your prayer request anytime. Your request can be added to our weekly prayer list or remain private among our pastors, who are committed to praying for your need.

Finally, let us continue to pray together in the way in which Jesus has instructed us to pray. As a church family, may we center our lives in prayer with perspective and persistence because of the faithfulness of our Father.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
for Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen.

By His grace and in His Peace,

Senior Pastor
