Christ Church Family Update – Week of Sunday, April 19

Dear Christ Church Family,

In this second week of Eastertide, we are reminded anew that Christ is indeed our Living Hope! Hallelujah!

It is important, especially in days like these, to remember how God delivers hope to and through His people. One of the ways that the hope of Christ can grow and strengthen within us is through the testimonies of God’s people.

Please take a moment to reflect on God’s work in your life and in the lives of those around you. Do you have a story of hope you can share? We would love to hear from you! We have created a space on our website at ccnash.org/hope for you to share your stories.

Stories of Hope

Our wonderful Joyful Hands quilting community group has been hard at work over the last month making approximately 2,000 cloth masks for the medical community. This community group saw a need and immediately rose to the challenge to use their gifts to bless others and spread hope.

Joyful Hands

Joyful Hands partnered with a prayer group from another local church who offered to donate materials to their cause and help them distribute the finished products. To date, these masks have been distributed locally to first responders, physicians’ offices, Vanderbilt Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital, and the VA Hospital. They have even been sent to those in need in Ohio, Texas, Michigan, and North Carolina. Thank you, Joyful Hands! What a powerful testimony of Living Hope at work in and through His people!

The whole church is encouraged when we are able to witness and to partcipate in the hope that we have in Christ! We look forward to gathering and sharing more stories of hope together in the coming weeks. We invite you to share your story on the church’s website at ccnash.org/hope.

In Christ,

Pastor Ben & the Christ Church Staff
