Chase the Lion
Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. Set God-sized goals. Pursue God-ordained passions. Go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention. Stop pointing out problems and become part of the solution. Stop playing it safe and start taking risks. Expand your horizons. Accumulate experiences. Don’t let what’s wrong with you keep you from worshipping what’s right with God. Worry less about what people think and more about what God thinks. Don’t try to be who you’re not. Be yourself. Laugh at yourself. Quit holding out. Quit holding back. Quit running away. Chase the lion!
Led by Kimberly Wenger
January 7 – April 8, 2009
Wednesday nights at 6:30. This class is co-ed.
Room: TBD
Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent (Beth Moore study)
An in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. (7 sessions)
Led by Shannon Bell and Shawn Gordon
Meets Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
January 7, 2009 – April 8, 2009

Women’s Book Study: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
This book skillfully retells the biblical love story of Gomer and Hosea in a tale set against the exciting backdrop of the California Gold Rush. The heroine, Angel, is a young woman who was sold into prostitution as a child. Michael Hosea is a godly man sent into Angel’s life to draw her into the Savior’s redeeming love.

Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy (Beth Moore study)
How individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. Join Beth in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures—to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats—today's believers face many of the same trials.
