Lauren Dyson Gardner was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and was basically raised at this church. In December 2005, she graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where she received her degree in Journalism/Mass Communications with a minor in French. She started working for Christ Church in January 2006 as the Public Relations Director.

Lauren is the daughter of Landy and Joy Gardner who have directed the Christ Church Choir for over 25 years. Lauren has a passion for music, sports and working with the youth at Christ Church in her spare time.
