Bell
Pastoral Ministries Director
Though he was born in San Mateo, California, Daniel Bell has lived in the Nashville area for almost 30 years. He has been a member of Christ Church since Easter of 1986. After studying in the Christ Church Leadership Institute for more than 5 years and attending University of Nations, Daniel was ordained into "The Gospel Ministry" in 1995 by Dan Scott at the Valley Cathedral in Phoenix, AZ upon the approval of Pastor LH Hardwick.
Upon ordination, Daniel served as an Associate Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Franklin, in Franklin, Tennessee. Later he joined the Hendersonville Chapel as an Associate Pastor before returning to Christ Church as Youth Pastor. During the summer of 2006 Daniel accepted the position Director of Pastoral Ministries. In all, Daniel has been in full time ministry for more than 15 years.
Pastoral Ministries is comprised of some of the church's most important ministries. The team consists of seven full time dedicated ministers and workers who lead hundreds of volunteers in specific areas of ministries, these areas are as follows: Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Restoration Ministries, Altar Care, Hospital Care, Leadership Institute, and Prayer Ministries.
Daniel is married to his lovely wife Shannon Crook Bell. They met initially at a restaurant and later found each other at Christ Church where they began a dating relationship. Shannon has attended Christ Church since 1986 and has a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee. Together they have one son, Joshua and one daughter, Faith. When he's not busy at the church Daniel enjoys photography and vacationing with his family in Destin, Florida.

Favorite Movie: Passion: the life of Christ, "It left me with similar feelings to losing my parents, I don't want to even talk about. It has affected me like no other movie."
