Trish #56 - January 12, 2006

This weekend Trish and I will be In Phoenix. We are planning a victory celebration. It has been a year and six months since that dreadful June day when our lives suddenly and drastically changed . Now, a year and a half later, after months of therapy, Trish will be clebrating her recovery from the brain aneurism and her return to a whole and healthy life by running the Phoenix half-marathon!

As Trish and I run, we will be thanking the Lord for all of you. You have been so faithful through our trial and subsequent recovery. We only hope that we will prove to be as available to you in your hour of need as you have been to us.

Trish will be passing along any and all gifts from her friends to the hospital founded by Sister Pat Gruits in Haiti, in memory of Montelle Hardwick. We have not mentioned this lately, to avoid any sense of manipulation. We understand that most of our friends have contributed already toward some memorial gift for Montelle. However, if any of you want to give, just send your gift to Christ Church, and make a notation what it is for. Whatever the Lord provides in terms of money will be a blessing for the valuable work that Sister Pat is doing for the children of Haiti. The original purpose for Trish's run though is to give glory to God for what he has done in restoring her to health.
