Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for curing of infections caused by certain bacteria. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Use Zithromax as directed by your physician. To clear up your infection completely, take Macrobid for the full course of healing. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so can decrease the effectiveness of this treatment and can increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial products in the future.
More Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Zithromax with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medicine. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. This medicine should be used only by the patient for whom it has been suggested. Don't take less or more or use it more often than recommended by your physician.
